Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students

  • Students must have a domicile of Karnataka
  • Must have secured a minimum of 50% or equivalent grades in the last final exam
  • Annual family income must be ₹ 2.5 lakh or less

Vidyasiri scholarship

  • Students must have domicile of Karnataka and belong to SC/ ST or minority community
  • Must have secured 75% attendance in the academic year

Post-matric scholarship for backward class students

How to create an Account under SSP Portal Karnataka?

Before you apply for any Scholarship scheme under the SSP portal you will first need to create your account, to create an account under the SSP portal follow the procedure given below:

  • Visit the official portal of SSP Karnataka. Portal Link can be checked below.
  • Now, click on the “Create Account” menu given at the top of the page.
  • Select the scholarship type among Pre-matric or Post-matric.
  • Enter the SATS ID in the box shown below and click on the “Get Data” button.
  • All the details of the student fetched from SATS will be displayed. Click on the “Save & Proceed” button.
  • A pop-up message indicating SAT’s detail will be displayed. Click “Yes” to continue. If details are not correct, click “No” and contact the concerned school for rectification.
  • Enter the Mobile No. in the space provided and move ahead by clicking on “Submit”
  • Enter the OTP and click on “Submit”.
  • Once the OTP is entered, a new page will open. Here students will be asked to create passwords. After the password is entered, click on the “Submit” button.
  • Finally, a student’s account on the SSP Karnataka portal will be created. User Id and password will be sent to the Registered Mobile No. of the candidate. After successful account creation, students can log in anytime into the portal.

Once you have created your account under the SSP Portal, now you can precede your further application. To apply for SSP Scholarship Karnataka follow the procedure mentioned below:

  • Click on the SSP portal.
  • Click on Apply for Pre-Matric Scholarship link.
  • Click on Student Login.

  • Now, the homepage of the Student Account will appear. The homepage will include the following Menus- Home, Edit, and Scholarships & Profile.
  • It will also include features of the Aadhaar option. Click “Yes” if the student and parent both have their Aadhaar card. Click on “Proceed”.
  • Mark the consent box and proceed further.
  • If Aadhaar Details are incorrect, then an error message will pop up on the screen. If the details are correct then the given message will appear. Click on “Yes”.
  • After Aadhaar Authentication, complete the profile by filling in certificate details.
  • Fill in the details carefully and click on the “Save & Proceed” button.
  • Now, provide Day Scholar/Hosteller details.
  • Fill in Personal details.
  • Now, fill in personal details (District, Taluka, and Contact Address) asked and click on “Save & Proceed”.
  • Complete Domicile details
  • Full details of previously availed scholarship (if any)
  • Upload photograph, although it is optional
  • Now, acknowledgment for the scholarship will appear. Applicants can take a printout of the same.
